Yearly, usually, one of my sisters sends our entire family drawing prompts, weekly. It is a thing on social media. I try to join in when I can. None of the pictures I draw usually strikes a chord with me. But this one did. The prompt was “A Bug’s Perspective” and after drawing it I decided I loved it. There is something in the perspective that gives me a feeling of being small (not in a negative way). I love when art makes you feel something above and beyond just being nice to look at.

I also love the simplicity of this digital art (done on Procreate). The more simple the art, often the better the story of it comes through.
