Accompaniment

To “accompany” is to perform supporting background music for a vocal solo or other instrumental ensemble.

*Sufficient notice is required. I will consider urgent requests only if I am familiar with the music.

What are You Paying For?

To accompany a vocal or instrumental ensemble, I spend hours practicing, daily, for several weeks, in order to play my part of the performance well. These hours are what I do in addition to showing up to play for the time you request. That is why just 30 minutes is worth a minimum of $20. **Venue and music difficulty determine the rate I charge.

If you are a consistent or returning client, I will offer discounts at my discretion up to 25% (E.G. you need me to accompany a voice lesson, weekly for several months).

Solo Performance

Performing musical compositions intended only for piano.

Solo performances would include background music at an event such as a wedding, corporate dinner, or other applicable gathering.
